This is part of the ongoing effort to tighten the management of hazardous substances, ensuring the protection of human health and the environment.
? TSCA – The Toxic Substances Control Act, enacted in 1976, serves as a key legal framework for regulating the production, importation, use, and disposal of chemicals in the U.S. Since 2021, the EPA has intensified oversight on five major PBT chemicals:
