On April 2, 2025, the European Union (EU) officially announced amendments to REACH Annex XVII (Restrictions) through Regulation (EU) 2025/660, introducing a new Entry 50a that establishes limits on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in clay target shooting products. This measure aims to mitigate exposure risks to PAHs—a group of substances known for their carcinogenic potential and environmental pollution hazards.
